At every stage of production, from milk collection, pasteurization, and cheese-making, to the maturing process in wooden barrels or tin cans, strict quality controls are being implemented, set out by quality standards.
In addition, PDO Feta cheese is produced exclusively using traditional production methods, while no pesticides, chemicals, or fertilizers are used in the breeding of the sheep and goats, so that the raw milk from these animals is safe and of high quality.
